ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE
BALLET EXAMINATIONS

Each year PDA students participate in RAD exams under our registered RAD teacher; Andrew Needhammer ARAD, RAD, RTS. Exams provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned and gain recognition from the largest examining body in the world. Exams are held in March or April. PDA Ballet students in Grade 3 and above are strongly encouraged, but are not required, to take the exams. In order to take an exam, students must take both classes of their level per week. All students taking the exam are also expected to have character shoes. If you have any questions please speak to our Ballet Mistress; Rebecca Needhammer, ARAD.
